Annual maintenance and painting
Check once a year the surface of the panels for any signs of peeling, discoloured or chalking paint.
Pay particular attention to the bottom row of panels, as it is most exposed to moisture and dirt.
If necessary, repaint with a high-quality acrylic paint.
Use acrylic-based paint only, as it adheres best and protects LP® SmartSide® panels against moisture, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.
Cleaning the panels
To clean the panels, use a soft cloth or brush.
Then rinse with clean water to remove dust and dirt.

The warranty period starts from the invoice date.
The warranty is only valid if the product is assembled correctly according to the assembly instructions.
The warranty only covers replacement of defective parts.
Important conditions
All parts are supplied in their natural, untreated state and must be treated before assembly according to the guidelines in the manual.
To avoid mistakes during assembly, we recommend within 14 days of purchase check the package and sort the parts using the parts list.
The warranty only applies to defective parts that have not yet been treated or assembled .
Parts that have already been painted, impregnated or used during assembly are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, the buyer must inform the seller in writing of any damage or defects by email.
The report must include:
- Clear photos of the damaged or defective part
- A list of damaged or missing parts
- The LOT number as stated in the assembly instructions
Only complete reports submitted on time can be processed.

Product packaging and delivery – Wooden garage m991b
Our wooden garages are carefully packed on sturdy pallets and delivered by 19-tonne lorries equipped with a hydraulic tail lift.
The product is delivered unassembled – all parts are neatly stacked on a pallet and protected with black film against dust and moisture.
Delivery is made as close to the house as possible.
If the lorry cannot drive onto your driveway or property, the pallet will be unloaded at the nearest accessible location.
Before purchasing, check whether a 19-tonne lorry can easily reach your home or delivery address.

If the courier cannot reach the buyer, the delivery cannot be made.
On receipt, check that the packaging has not been damaged during transport.
Quality packaging and inspection
